Conference News

Announcing the 2017 Call for Papers & Artistic Work — Venice International University, San Servolo, Venice, Italy

Proposals for paper presentations, workshops, posters, or colloquia are invited for the Eighth International Conference on the Image, to be held alongside the 57th International Art Exhibition of the Venice Biennale, 31 October-1 November 2017 at Venice International University, San Servolo, Venice, Italy. We welcome proposals from a variety of disciplines and perspectives. To view the conference themes, please visit the conference website. The deadline for the current round of submissions to the conference Call for Papers (a title and short abstract) is 31 December 2016. To submit your proposal, please click here.

We also invite conference participants to submit artistic work for the 2017 Image Conference Pop-Up Exhibition to be held 31 October-1 November 2017 alongside the Eighth International Conference on the Image. We are working to develop a rich and distinctive conference program for the 2017 conference. If you plan to present at the conference, register with Advance Registration to receive a discount towards your registration and placement in the first announcement of the conference schedule.
